I AM SORRY THAT I TOOK SO LONG TO BLOG THIS WEEK BUT, AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, I AM KIND OF UPSET. Looking at the schedule it does not look like it is going to get any better any time soon. They play Houston, New York Giants, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Jets and then go to the San Diego Chargers.  the raiders could lose every one of those games and be sitting on the bottom of the afc west, again. so where do we go from here? the truth is we go no where.

sitting at the staduim i heard thousands of people chanting, “RUSSELL sucks.” i am going to let everyone in on a little secret, he is not going anywhere. JAMARCUS HAS TOO MUCH GARUNTEED MONEY AND THERE IS JUST NO ROOM TO ADD A VETERAN BACK-UP QB, WHICH IS WHY THEY RELEASED GARCIA. NOT JUST BECAUSE THEY THOUGHT IT WOULD PISS US FANS OFF. YES JAMARCUS IS PLAYING BADLY BUT HOW BOUT CHANTING CABLE SUCKS. IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIABLE TO WIN IN THIS LEAUGE WHEN YOU CALL RUN, RUN, PASS, THEN PUNT EVERY SINGLE POSSESSION. IT ALSO DOES NOT HELP WHEN YOU RUN RIGHT INTO RUN BLITZES THREE TIMES IN A ROW. THAT IS NOT RUSSELLS FAULT. I AM NOT A HUGE FAN OF RUSELLS BUT I UNDERSTAND THAT WHEN YOU DRAFT A GUY NUMBER ONE AND PAY HIM AS MUCH AS RUSSELL GOT (SIXTY ONE MILLION DOLLARS) YOU ARE STUCK WITH HIM. SO AS MAD AS WE MAY BE, AND AS MUCH AS WE BOO, RUSSELL IS GOING TO BE OUIR GUY UNTIL HIS CONTRACT RUNS LOW AND WE WONT TAKE A HUGE CAP HIT FOR LETTING HIS BUTT GO.

Al Davis and the Raiders have been a Legend in the history of football. Yet if someone loses for more than one years they are just losers. If that's the case I know a lot of football teams that are losers. RAIDERS will NEVER be losers! They have always been a part of the community helping others and supporting many organizations like autism. That is the very definition of a winner in my book. As for the change of coaches the Raiders need to find a coach that can instill the enthusiasm and drive that the fans have. I am new to the Raider world and I have seen such love and team work from the Raider Nation Fans that I hope Cable can transfer it to the team this year. If the Raiders will play like the fans support them the Raiders would NEVER lose. I hope to enjoy many seasons with the Raiders win, lose, or tie. Go Raiders!!!!!

Ive been a RAIDER fan since 70s I been there for great games and not so get games,so all those so called fans that say were losers,take off the gear and jump on some eles band wagon the NATION doest need them!luv the site great job ill be back often.

Hell Yeah Raider Nation!!! we are going to smash the San Diego Chokers this season, I cant wait for them to get a load of our Three Headed Beast (Fargas, McFadden and Bush) and not to mention Neal Blocking for them all, and Russell is starting to become the leader I always know he would be, this is going to be one hell of a season Merriman is Going to have cleat marks all over his face come Monday night
