                                               "WHO DO WE BLAME?"

 

        I have heard many opinions in regards to who we, as fans, should blame for the current lock out. My opinion is that there is enough blame to go around to both sides. Here is my argument for both sides.

1. Players- If my employer was to come to me and say, "You are doing well, and so is your business, but ummmmm you have to take a pay cut." Right after the words were done coming out of my bosses' mouth I would say WTF. After I was done saying WTF I would say, "Well if I am doing so well, and so is the company, why am I taking a pay-cut?" If my boss then said it was because he is doing poorly at is other business I would wonder WTF that had to do with me. After all that was done, I would then say, "Well show me what you are dealing with financially and lets try and work something out until you get back on your feet." To me that sounds reasonable and that is exactly what the players want to see. They want to see how bad the owners are doing before they take a pay-cut. They want to know if the owners are losing the 20% a year they are trying to take from the players. Maybe the owners are only losing 10% a year and that's all they need back from the players. The players should at least get a chance to see real figures, and not just be forced to take the owners word for it.

2. The owners- This one is simple. It is their money and its no ones business how they spend it. The owners are the kings and they do not have to show anything to anyone. The truth is that owners fly family members around the world, buy more houses than a person could use, buy hookers, gamble, pay rent for mistresses, and countless other things they do not want anyone to know. Would you want to be transparent with all those nasty bones in the closet?

Hey BIGDAWG, First i would like to say that DHB is a young and talented WR. But we need to have Vet WR to show the younger WR'S how to play the position. We cannot have rookies showing rookies how its done. And as far as Gallery. He was and still is a good player that tryed to get better moving from OT to OG. I feel that most of our problems came from #70 AND #66. They had the most penalties then anyone els on the team. And the way i see it thats what really hurt us this last season. And one more thing, for any player that wants stay and play for the RAIDERS should not worry about how much money they should be getting.

Tiki a team player?! He couldn't refrain from bashing his old team during his first year as an announcer, not to mention his coach! Then what happens once he's gone? SB win. Fact of the matter is he's a virus and has no place in our rising squad. Let Denver take his ass, and we'll smash on him twice too!

Amen Romero! If we were any other team they wouldn't even bring it up. He bailed on his squad and ran his mouth. He's an a$$..
